Reading from 3/18/1956
I used to ride my bike all around Lawrence, KS when I was going to KU and I liked listening to a recording of this read to music by Tom Waits. Somehow, for the last few years, I’ve failed to think about it. So glad it’s been brought back to my attention.
I remember the first time I heard this. It was in my AP Lit class during my senior year of college. So gooooood.
